Assoc. Prof. Koga received Kao Award

Associate Professor Kenichiro Koga received the so-called Kenkyuushoureishou award from Kao Science and Technology Foundation. An open lecture with his theme: "Water structure and dynamic on interface", is scheduled to be held in 16th May, 2007.

Kao Research Award is given to young researcher (age below 40th) who had innovative and pioneering contribution to science and technology field. The award has honored various creative researchers since 1998.

During reviewers meeting held in January 2007, there are 17 candidates from Chemistry-Physics field and 13 from medical-biology field who were going to compete for the award. Among those candidates, Associate Professor Koga was the only researcher who win the award this year.
