Hamada and Takaiwa on Their Thesis Defence

Hamada and Takaiwa were set off for their Ph.D thesis defense today (2009/2/19). In a 45 minutes battle ground, with other professors on the opposite line, Hamada was defending his dissertation: "Effects of the pore-size, dimensionality, and wall-particle interaction on confined fluid", followed by Takaiwa with his dissertation: "Structure and phase behavior of quasi-one dimensional water. "
